Gloria Jean (Juniel) Owusuagyemang

Gloria Jean Juniel Owusuagyemang was born on January 26, 1955, in Eloy, Arizona, to her loving parents, John William Juniel and Delois Ellis Juniel. The first grandchild in her family, she was also the oldest sibling among her brothers and sisters: Rita Juniel, Vicki Juniel Dailey, and Joey Juniel.

Though Gloria was born in Eloy, Arizona, she grew up in Tucson, Arizona. She graduated from Tucson High Magnet School and went on to earn her Associate's degree from Weber State University. In the 80's, Gloria moved to Dallas, Texas, to further her education and pursue art and fashion. Her favorite thing of all was helping others. As she worked on her goals, she decided to invest in her family life, and she became a proud mother to four children: Kenneth Agyemang Jr., Vida Agyemang, Mya Agyemang, and Kevin Agyemang.

While loving and nurturing her family, Gloria built an impressive career and participated in several clubs and organizations: fashion designer, past president of the Irving Noon Day Lions Club, member of the Irving Chamber of Commerce, member of the Rotary, Community Liaison for Walmart for 30 years, and Mary Kay Beauty Consultant for 30 years. She also went on to be a major contributor to many projects in the Irving/ Dallas area: school grants for students, Ballet Folklorico, Keep Irving Beautiful, and more. On May 8, 2026, at 10:45 am, Gloria passed away at her home in Farmers Branch, Texas. Finally resting in her eternity with the Lord. Gloria leaves behind a legacy, not just in her children and her works, but in how she loved her family, friends, and others. Gloria will be remembered for her passionate personality and gentle heart for others. She was a daughter of the most high God, and she will forever be admired for her dedication to making the world better than she found it. May Gloria rest in heavenly peace.
