Harry J. Magri Impini was born on March 13, 1934, in Entre Rios Argentina to Rodolfo R. Impini and Rita Magri. He passed away peacefully as he was surrounded by loved ones on September 18, 2024. He was the third of five children. At the age of 17, he joined the Italo Electrical Company, holding numerous administrative positions for 15 years. He was also enlisted in the Argentine Armed Forces from 1955 to 1956.
Harry married Nilda R. Rodriguez on January 2, 1964. After his first child, Dario, was born, he decided to bring his young family to the United States to pursue a better life. Living in Queens, NY in 1969 their second son Jerry was born. Becoming a citizen, Harry studied radio and TV technology while supporting his family in various fields until he gained employment as an electronic technician at Design Controls in New York. He shifted his focus to residential building management, holding various superintendent positions until reaching the director level over a residential complex. He was referred to as the "Super of Supers." In 1996, he retired and moved to Dallas, Texas, with his wife.
In 1989, he accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior and was involved in community evangelization. He loved Jesus and was ordained as a pastor in 1996, having a strong gift for sharing the Word of God.
He enjoyed playing soccer and the guitar, bandoneon, and accordion. His talents included drawing, sculpting, and singing. He loved America but retained some of his ethnic customs, like drinking his morning maté daily. He was well-known and loved for being charming, warm, sweet, happy, and funny.
Harry is survived by his wife, Nilda R. Impini; his sons, Dario Impini and Jerry Impini; his grandchildren, Steven Impini and Kyle Impini and his wife, Kalee; his sisters, Blanca and Irma; his sisters-in-law, Carmen and Norma; his brother-in-law, Rocco; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
