Helen Ruth (Kittley) Sanderson was born on October 26, 1928, in Rule, Texas, to Ollie Robert Kittley and Zula Maddie Kittley. She passed away on August 8, 2024, in Garland, Texas.
Helen grew up in Rule, Texas. She graduated from Rule High School in 1936 and went on to attend Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas, shortly after high school. She married Harley Lavern Sanderson in Krum, Texas, where they loved and nurtured their two daughters, Nancy Kathleen (Clardy) Payne and Charlsie Ruth (Clardy) Hussein.
Helen was known for her dedication to her family and her faith. A member of the Church of Christ, Helen's life was marked by her love for her children and grandchildren, and her strong commitment to her community and church.
Helen was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Those left to cherish fond memories include her daughters and their spouses; her five grandchildren - Holly Payne, Kendra Payne, Andria Payne Pratt, Adam Hussein, and Sarah Hussein Bekheet; and her seven great-grandchildren.
