Ida Mae (Allen) Dyer, age 91, peacefully departed this life on June 6, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of faith, love, strength, and generosity. Our Nana was known for her often sarcastic sense of humor and always being in the kitchen cooking or doing something for her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her laughter was contagious, and her loving spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.
A devoted Christian, she lived her life guided by her unwavering faith in God. Her relationship with Christ was evident in the way she cared for others. She'd offer encouragement, compassion, and a helping hand whenever someone was in need. She found great joy in serving her church, friends, and family. Even on her hardest days, she declared that God was still faithful and had been good to her throughout her life.
She was a cherished wife, mother, sister, sister-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. Family was at the center of her heart, and she treasured the moments spent with her loved ones. Her wisdom, strength, and love will continue to inspire generations to come.
Those left to cherish precious memories include her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, extended family members, her church family, and many dear friends. The memories she created and the lives she touched will remain forever in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her. Though she will be deeply missed, we find comfort in knowing that she is resting in the presence of her Lord and Savior. She is no longer suffering, and she is finally free!
“I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.” ~ Psalms 121:1-2 NIV
