Jay Meyers Obituary

Jay Everett Meyers, 65, of Wylie Texas, passed away on April 9, 2023.

Jay was born on April 28, 1957, to Everett  Jay Meyers and Carol Genevieve (Hampton) Meyers of Spring Valley, Wisconsin. He was a loving husband, father, and Coast Guard veteran who enjoyed boating, hunting, traveling, (especially road trips), and telling stories… lots of stories.

Jay fell in love and married his wife, Mary, on September 7, 1985. Together, they had five children.

He enjoyed a long career working as an Applications Engineer at Teradyne, where he forged many long- lasting friendships.

Those left to cherish fond memories include his wife, Mary Meyers; his children: Kevin Meyers, Scott Meyers (Meagan), Matthew Meyers, Kellie Meyers, and Ross Meyers; his brothers Wade Meyers (DeAnna), Cliff Meyers (Tammy), and Shane Meyers (Sandy); his sisters-in-law: Patty Edell, Sue Franzen, Terry Kipping (Nigel), and Cindy Lervoog (Bruce); and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends whom he cherished deeply.

Jay is reunited in heaven with his parents, Everett and Carol Meyers; his parents-in-law, Joe and Jackie Edell; and brother-in-law Joe Edell III.
