Jeffie Evan Johnson was born on October 9, 1990, to Jeffie and Clara Johnson in Dallas, Texas. He was warmly welcomed by his big sister, Sharnelia, and an enormous extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He received his education from Garland Independent School District schools and completed high school in 2009. He found a new love in 2010 when his first child, Makenzie, was born. He later met his life partner, Montinett Perry. Together, they welcomed his second child, Heavan, to the world in 2015.
Affectionately regarded as "Jeff" and "Big Jeff" by his friends, Jeffie grew up with a love for cars, shoes, and basketball. He loved building model cars and hooping at the recreation center with his sister and friends. He was known for his humor and hustle. As a 6'5" 300 something pound gentle giant, he was truly a man of few words who brought so much love and laughter when he spoke. A God-fearing man who accepted Christ into his heart at a young age, Jeffie was a member of North Dallas Community Bible Fellowship. He never met a stranger and loved his friends dearly. He often referred to his friends as his brothers and sisters.
Jeffie was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jeffie Johnson and Charlene Johnson, and maternal grandparents, Evans Norris and Cornelia Norris. Those left to cherish precious memories include his parents, Jeffie and Clara Johnson; daughters, Makenzie and Heavan; fiancée, Montinett Perry; sister, Sharnelia Johnson; brother, Demond Johnson; sister, Aleah Johnson; niece, Kennadi Archibald; best friend whom he called his brother, Shelby Patterson; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
