Jennifer Loos Obituary

Jennifer Christie Loos, known as Jenny to her loved ones, was born September 22, 1991, and passed away on January 31, 2026, in Dallas, TX.

An adventurer at heart and a true free spirit, Jenny was a talented artist and a generous person who loved animals, especially dogs. She was a devoted dog mom to Luna, followed by Moose, who accompanied her everywhere. Jenny found joy in posing for non-traditional photos, usually making silly faces or holding bugs. She loved to rescue spiders and caterpillars and had a fascination with bees, learning as much as she could about them.

As a child, she loved exploring and swimming. Her favorite spot was the creek by her house, where she spent as much time as possible with her childhood best friends, Kebbie, Maddie, and Michelle.

In high school, Jenny excelled in honors classes, particularly enjoying art and debate. She was grateful for the care her teachers showed her, gifting her favorite teacher her pet tarantula. She went on to pursue her bachelor's degree at the University of Texas at Dallas.

As an adult, Jenny enjoyed drawing, fishing, spending time with her dog, and cooking seafood. She was very proud of her recipes for marinated salmon and parmesan-crusted tilapia, and was kind enough to share them with loved ones. She loved to be outdoors, especially when the weather was cooler, and making a campfire, a skill her father taught her.

She loved her family, friends, and pets, and enjoyed spending time with them whenever she could. Jenny would often show her affection with personalized art pieces, which were cherished by those to whom she gifted them. She never said no to helping those in need or to going on new adventures. She will be deeply missed.

Jenny is survived by her parents, Rodney and Lori Loos; sister, Heather Rodriguez; brother-in-law, Javier Rodriguez; both of her grandmothers; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends, all of whom loved her and will cherish lasting memories.
