Jody Ann (Foster) Pitcock

Jody Ann (Foster) Pitcock was born on May 30, 1969, to Frank Allen Foster and Barbara Ann Garner in Long Beach, Mississippi. She transitioned to eternity with her Lord on June 23, 2022, in Rowlett, Texas.

Jody graduated from Princeton High School in 1987. She went on to attend the University of Texas at Dallas where she earned her bachelor's degree in Education. In her early years, she was employed at Texas Instruments and the Warren Center. In her later years, Jody enjoyed a longtime career as an educator for Garland Independent School District until her transition.

Jody married the love of her life, David Pitcock, on December 22, 1992. David and Jody nurtured and loved two children - Sarah and Megan. The couple remained united until her transition.

Among many hobbies, Jody was a devout Christian and enjoyed God’s word. Jody will be fondly remembered for her thoughtful, funny, and loving nature. Her kind spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Jody was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Allen and Barbara Ann Foster. Those left to cherish precious memories include her loving husband of 29 years, David Pitcock; daughters, Sarah Pitcock, and Megan Pitcock; niece, Chelsea Foster; mother and father-in-law, David and Sandra Pitcock; sister-in-law, Cindy Wright (Bob); and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
