Johnny Lee Jackson was born in Franklin, Texas, on January 4, 1950. A graduate of Lincoln High School, Johnny enlisted in the United States Air Force and proudly served his country until he was honorably discharged. He went on to enjoy a longtime career with the United States Postal Service, from which he retired after many years of dedicated service.
Affectionately regarded as "JJ” and "Papa J", Johnny will be fondly remembered for his generous, honest, and hard-working nature. He will especially be missed by his grandchildren who will hold lasting memories of him as a doting grandpa who would do anything to ensure their happiness.
Johnny was preceded in death by his mother and father. Those left to cherish memories include his four children; seven grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law; three nieces; and a host of other relatives and friends.
