Judith Kathryn Gentzler

Judith Kathryn Gentzler was born on April 9, 1957, in Abilene, Texas. Surrounded by her loving family, she transitioned to eternity with her Lord on April 8, 2021. 

Judith graduated from Bryan Adams High School (Class of 1975). She later graduated from the University of Texas - Dallas (Class of 1995). Judith enjoyed a longtime career with Scottish Rite Hospital where she worked in the purchasing department as a manager. 

More important than the names by which she was affectionately regarded - "AJ" and "Aunt Judy", Judy had nicknames for others. Nicknames for her nieces and nephews included "Scooter" (Chris), "Princess" (Cyra), "Kitten" (Samantha), "Monster" (Aaron), and "Sunshine"( Kathryn). She absolutely adored her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. 

Among many hobbies, Judy delighted in traveling, fellowship with her church groups, and helping others. More than anything, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews. Her pride was supporting them in all of their endeavors. 

A member of Saturn Road Church of Christ, Judy will be fondly remembered for her compassion, humility, dependability, and servant's heart. Her bright spirit will be missed by all who were blessed to cross her path. 

She was predeceaed by her niece, Alexis Rae Lancaster. Those left to cherish precious memories include her parents, Fred and Valeta Gentzler; siblings - Stan Gentzler (Shea), Stephen Gentzler (Venetia), and Janean Caldwell (Bill); nephew, Christopher Gentzler (Felicia) and their daughter Carlee and son Mason; niece, Cyra Phelan (Keith) and their son Tristan and daughter Kaylee; niece, Samantha Wolfe (Austin); nephew, Aaron Gentzler; niece, Kathryn Petty; niece, Candis Hackenjos and her daughters Beverly and Brooke; and nephew, Logan McCormack.
