Kathie (Daily) Thompson

Kathie (Daily) Thompson was born on April 30, 1952, to Calvin Anderson and Jean Marie (Johnson) Daily in Woodstock, Illinois. She was one of four children loved and nurtured in this union. Kathie passed away on January 16, 2024, in Richardson, Texas.

In 1970, Kathie graduated from Woodstock Community High School in Woodstock, Illinois. She went on to enjoy a longtime career in customer service at IBM. 

On October 12, 2002, Kathy married the love of her life, Wayne Lee Thompson. The two remained united in holy matrimony until her transition. 

Among many hobbies, Kathie delighted in shopping, sewing, and crafts. She will be fondly remembered for her creative, nurturing, generous, and strong nature. Her nurturing and compassionate spirit will be missed by all who were privileged to have known and loved her. 

Kathie was preceded in death by her parents and brother. Those left to cherish precious memories include her husband, Wayne; children; family in Illinois; and a host of other relatives and friends.
