Kyle Brandon Noland was born on November 14, 1982, in Abilene, Texas, and passed away on Monday, May 12, 2025, in Dallas, Texas. He was 42.
Kyle graduated from Lewisville High School in 2001. He went on to complete a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at the University of North Texas in 2008.
Kyle pursued many interests during his short life, mostly self-taught…skateboarding, art, baseball, car repair, even golf… something he enjoyed with his dad, brother, and Papa. He played guitar, writing and recording many songs. His cousins still get together to reminisce and enjoy his music. Kyle loved woodworking and perfected his craft with an unrivaled attention to detail. He thrived in all aspects of technology. Kyle was an outstanding software engineer, appreciated by his customers and coworkers for his talent, skill, and dedication.
Kyle was honest, even when he knew your views might be different. He was succinct with words and witty, often cracking a joke or quipping using a word you had to look up later! He never brought attention to himself when he offered kind and thoughtful acts of love to others. He was a good friend to many.
Kyle had a special relationship with his siblings. Growing up, Eric and Kyle shared sports interests, but during their adult years, their common interests turned to guns and home renovation projects. Eric was a great source of knowledge for Kyle during his challenging medical bouts and demonstrated such compassion during tough times. As the oldest big brother, Kyle kept a close eye on Olivia, once putting her in a timeout, even though he wasn’t on official babysitting duty. As she grew up, he never quit looking out for her and was always there with wise counsel and support.
Kyle had a real soft spot in his heart for his nephew, Walker. Kyle was generous with his time and gifts. The time he spent with him was invaluable and special.
Kyle and Hillary were married for a short time, but they knew and loved each other for six years. They met soon after his open-heart surgery, and it wasn’t long before Kyle was sharing with the family that he had met someone very special. Unfortunately, Kyle’s medical challenges continued, but Hillary was right by his side, always encouraging his rehabilitation. She was a rock for him, and Kyle loved her fiercely. Hillary, her parents, sisters, brothers-in-law, and another niece and nephew all added much love to his life.
Kyle is survived by his wife, Hillary; parents, Craig and Brenda; his brother, Eric Noland, and sister-in-law, Taylor Noland; his sister, Olivia Nicholson; his grandparents, Bill and Caron Noland and Mamie Willis; his aunt, Cathy, and uncle, Jack Locke; his aunt, Paula, and uncle, Levi Jones; his aunt, Susan Weaver; his nephew, Walker Nicholson; and his cousins, Bryce and Ellis Jones, Hutton and Grant Weaver, and Elizabeth Locke. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bryce Willis.
Kyle will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
