Lillian Mary Goston was born June 15, 1975, in Monroe, Louisiana. She accepted Christ in her teenage years and transitioned to eternity in Irving, Texas, on June 10, 2024.
Affectionately known as Angel, Lillian graduated from Wossman High School in 1994 and earned her associate degree from Ultimate Medical Academy in 2018. In her earlier years, she worked in bank operations as a home healthcare provider and worked for many years in retail.
Lillian's role as a mother was not just a title, but a profound source of joy and fulfillment. Her unwavering dedication to her family, as a daughter, sister, and mother, was a testament to her nurturing nature and love for her family. She cherished every moment spent with them, holding them in the highest regard.
Lillian's memory will be cherished for her sweet-natured disposition, passion for life, caring and kind-hearted nature, sense of humor, and intelligence. She was a beacon of positivity, a fantastic person who left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
Lillian was preceded in death by her mother, Dora Goston Stamper, her father, Samuel Bryd, and her godmother, Naomi Harris.
Those left to cherish precious memories include her son, Willie Jenkins III; her sister, Margaret Stamper Freelon; her brothers, Moses Lee Goston (Regina), Fred Douglas Stamper, Jr. (Evette), and Arthur James Goston (Demetrice); her niece Tawaina Tramble; and her nephews Jeremy Goston, Nicholas Goston, Everett Stamper, and Deion Stamper; her god sister Carrie Ross; uncle John Henry Goston; great-nieces Zee'Anna Tramble and Nevaeh Monae Young; great nephews LaTrell Nobles and Jeremiah Goston; and sisters-in-love Kenya N. Sampson and Deirdre Bradley; and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
