Linda Staley was born on November 2, 1953, in Phoenix, Arizona. She transitioned to eternity on August 13, 2018, in Dallas, Texas, at age 64.
Linda graduated from Camelback High School in Phoenix. She went on to attend Arizona State University where she focused on nursing. Linda enjoyed a long-time career as an Executive Assistant. Last employed at Citi, she was one of few assistants with the skill of shorthand.
Among many hobbies, Linda enjoyed reading, sewing, cooking, and dancing. She also delighted in listening to music, specifically disco. She loved the Beatles. She also enjoyed movies, specifically musicals and disaster movies.
A caring, loving, vibrant, and compassionate lady with a great sense of humor, Linda will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Linda was predeceased by her parents, Earl Canning and Mary Lou Chambers Canning, and her brother, William "Bill" Canning. Those left to cherish fond memories include her daughter, Kacy Sypert; son, Christopher Mitchell; grandchildren: Brittney Sypert, Brandon Sypert, Ashley Sypert, Matthew Sypert, and Justin Sypert; nephews, David Canning and William Canning; and a host of friends.
