Lois Mae Ross-McCoy was born on August 28, 1942, to Louis Ross, Sr. and Susanna West Ross in Marquez, Texas. She transitioned to eternity with her Lord on February 20, 2021.
Lois received her education in Italy, Texas. Soon after graduation, she and her identical twin sister, Joyce, moved to Dallas for better opportunities. Lois was employed with Texas Instruments until her health began to decline.
A member of First Baptist Church of Hamilton Park under the leadership of Pastor Greg Foster, she married James E. McCoy on August 27, 1985. No children were born to this union.
Lois was predeceased by her parents; sisters: Ruby, Lurlee, Ada, Susie, Louise, and Joyce; and brothers: Ceelmar, Cammie, Louis Jr., Laverne, Billy, and Raymond.
Those left to cherish precious memories include her husband, James; stepchildren, Musette and James A. McCoy; grandchildren: Morris, Mimor, and Antrese; sister, Vertie Mae Green; brother, Larry (Mary) Ross; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The family of Lois would like to thank Saint Andrews Hospice LLC & her nurses Vickie and Ester for their continued care during her illness.
