Lucille (Hill) Johnson was born on November 7, 1941, in Birmingham, Alabama. She transitioned to eternity on September 4, 2021, in Garland, Texas.
Upon graduation from high school, Lucille enjoyed a longtime career in management at Hills Department Store Headquarters. After many years of dedicated service, she retired in 2010.
Affectionately regarded as "Loo", Lucille delighted in water sports of all kind and acting in church plays. She also enjoyed baseball, softball, and bowling. Lucille was a semi-pro bowler and participated in a number of bowling leagues in New York City.
She will be fondly remembered for her active, funny, and caring. Her dedicated and fighting spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish memories include her children: Archie F. Johnson III (Maria), Troy Donahue Johnson (Rosalyn H. Johnson), and Isaac Johnson (Evoria); grandchildren and great-grandchildren - Vanessa Maria Eldridge (Johnson) (Sofia), Maria Del Rocio Corredor-Asensio (Johnson) (Sefora & Liam), Shonda Howard, Wendy (Darrel) Pickett, Sydney (Aurby) Burdine, and Nicolas Coleman.
