Luiz Esquivel Obituary

Luiz Felipe Esquivel was born in Mason City, Iowa, on July 10, 1962. He passed away peacefully on October 19, 2023.

Luiz graduated from Lake Highlands High School in 1980 and went on to enjoy a fulfilling career as a dedicated technician in the HVAC industry. After many years of hard work, he retired in January 2023.

Affectionately known as "Lou", he was a recipient of the "Texas Wrestling State Champion" award. He was a true friend who was dependable, and his confident and headstrong nature will be fondly remembered. Luiz's loving spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leonardo Esquivel; his mother, Irma R. Esquivel; his daughter, Shelby Esquivel Barczykowski; and his grandmother, Julia Marquez.

Those left to cherish precious memories include his siblings: Oscar Esquivel, Sandra Ramirez, Rosie Esquivel, Yollie Esquivel, and Leonard Esquivel; his grandchildren, Jackson Barczykowski and Tessa Barczykowski; and a host of other relatives and friends.
