Malcolm Fish, Jr. Obituary

Malcolm James Fish, Jr. was born on August 1, 1932, in Hockley, Texas. He passed away on September 17, 2020, in Garland, Texas. 

Malcolm graduated high school and enlisted in the United States Army. He went on to enjoy a longtime career with Dallas Power and Light. After many years of service, he retired.  

Affectionately regarded as "Fish", Malcolm enjoyed garage sales and flea markets. His weekends were for garage sales, as he never stopped looking for a bargain. He also delighted in watching John Wayne movies and the show, MASH.  He was an excellent cook and looked forward to family and friends gathering so he could put his skills to work. His favorite cuisines included fried fish and all Cajun food. Malcolm also enjoyed fishing - not just at lakes, but also at the gulf. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Malcolm James Fish, Sr.; mother, Viola Grant Fish; son, James Ray Fish; granddaughter, Jennifer Yates; and great-grandson, Mikey Gomez. He was also predeceased by the mother of his children, Luceil Marie Fish. Those left to cherish precious memories include his daughter, Patty Chambers; son, Mike Fish; granddaughter, Christy Chambers (Mike Gomez); granddaughter, Brandi Renshaw (Shane Renshaw); great-granddaughter, Emily Chambers; and great-grandson, Brian Gomez. He also leaves his extended family - sons, John Crawford, Jaxon Crawford, and Ace Crawford. Malcolm cherished his family and friends. He was a people person who loved to make others laugh. Malcolm James Fish, Jr. will be forever loved and missed by all who knew him.
