Martha Nell Jackson

Surrounded by her loving family, Martha Nell Jackson was called home to our Lord on Friday, June 9, 2023.

Martha was born on June 11, 1949, to Landy Jackson, Sr., and Essie Mae (Carter) Jackson in Columbus, Georgia. She was a ray of sunshine to everyone she met, and she had a beautiful smile and hearty laughter that was contagious.

Martha was a strong Christian woman who loved the Lord with all of her heart. She loved to pray, sing, and recite her favorite scripture, Psalm 23. Her sweet acts of kindness touched our lives and inspired those around her to be compassionate and giving.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She will be deeply missed by her sisters, Mary Sholes and Ellen Bennett; her brother, Tommy Jackson; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; as well as a very special circle of friends and acquaintances. Although her physical presence is no longer with us, her spirit will forever reside in our hearts.

Martha, you touched our lives with your kindness, wisdom, and unwavering love. You will forever remain an inspiration to us all. The hearts of those who knew her well are filled with sorrow as we bid farewell to an amazing soul. May you find eternal peace in the embrace of the divine, knowing that your legacy will endure through the lives you touched.
