Matthew Paul Stelling

Matthew Paul Stelling, 56, of McKinney, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on June 8, 2026. He was born on May 3, 1970, in Houston, Texas, to Paul and Harriett Stelling. 

In 1992, Matt graduated from Texas A&M University, where he was a proud and active member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. Soon after graduating from A&M, Matt settled down in DFW. He continued his education at Amberton University, where he received his MBA. After many successful years working at IBM, Matt's career journey ultimately brought him to CherryRoad Technologies.

Matt enjoyed karaoke and making bad dad jokes, sometimes, for no other reason than to embarrass his children. More than anything, Matt valued the relationships he built throughout his life and the time he shared with those he loved. 

He is survived by his parents, Paul and Harriett Stelling; his children, Darbi Kenny-Stelling, Logan Stelling, and Reese Stelling; his children’s mother, Andrea Marshall; his grandson, London Nguyen; his sister, Ainsley Stelling (Jeff Woods); and many lifelong friends and extended family who loved him dearly.

A memorial service will be held in the coming weeks. 

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the 529 college fund established for Reese.
