Michael Lee Wilson was born on November 1, 1958, in Memphis, Tennessee, to the late Eudora Joyce and James W. Wilson. He confessed his life for Christ at an early age and received his formal education from Lakeview Gardens Elementary School, Geeter Middle School, and graduated from Fairley High School. Mickey spent some of his childhood time playing baseball, football, and loving his neighborhood friends. He managed several eateries, such as Church’s Chicken, and traveled to Texas to open Bojangles. Most of his work was in restaurant management and factory management. His interests were traveling with friends, especially to Las Vegas. However, he also enjoyed those silent moments when he loved to watch television, especially action movies. He transitioned on December 16 with his loving sister by his side.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Ruby Lee Hale. He leaves to mourn his passing two sisters, Elaine Wilson of Garland, Texas, and Pearlie Fisher of Memphis, Tennessee, two brothers, James Wilson of Memphis, Tennessee, and Donald Dorsey Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
