Natalie Gene Williams was born on July 13, 1965 at St. Mary's Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Nelson Gee Williams and Marie Helen Williams.
Natalie grew up in St. Louis, Missouri where she attended St. Rose of Lima Catholic School and Blewett Junior High School. She moved to Bowling Green, Kentucky and attended Warren Central High School, where she graduated in 1983. She went on to broadcasting school for one year, then moved to Los Angeles, California for four years. Natalie then moved back to Bowling Green, where she resided until she finally moved to Dallas, Texas in 1999. Natalie started her career in the restaurant industry as a service worker and retail industry as a manager. She finished her career in client relations.
Natalie, also known as "Gene" and "Jeannie" by her family, was a member of Zion Baptist Church in Rowlett, Texas for many years. She found solace in praising the Lord and reading the Bible. She loved watching sci-fi movies, reading, and watching DC and Marvel movies. Natalie was courageous, hardworking, independent, determined, and self-confident. She was known for her straightforwardness and commitment to speaking the truth, regardless of the circumstances. Natalie's proudest accomplishments were her two children and six grandchildren. She cherished the time spent raising her children and creating lasting memories with her grandchildren.
Natalie was preceded in death by her parents, Nelson Gee Williams and Marie Helen Williams; her brothers - Willie James Marlow, Michael Lorenzo Hall, and Nelson "Baby Gee" Williams, Jr.; her brother-in-law, Terrance Wheatley; and her partner, Felton McCarter.
Those left to cherish lasting memories include her children, Travis Williams and Ashley Williams; her daughter-in-law, Michelle Williams; her siblings - Gwendolyn Wheatley, Jerome Williams, Natosha Williams, Cheryl Childress, Gordon Williams, Naccaman Williams, and Nathaniel Williams; her grandchildren - Sydney Williams, Zahria Montgomery, Tyler Williams, Zion Massingill, Kerrigan Williams, and Kennedy Williams; her sister-in-law, Patricia Marlow; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
