Nicholas Damon Delone

Nicholas Damon Delone was born on June 15, 1997, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Lisa Holley and Edward Delone, Jr. He transitioned to eternity on April 11, 2021, in Plano, Texas. 

Nick, as he was affectionately regarded, accepted Christ and was baptized at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church. He was an outgoing and fun-loving young man who loved his family, friends, and the New Orleans Saints very much.  

Nick began his education under the Archdiocese of New Orleans, beginning at St. Peter Claver. After relocating to Dallas, Texas, he graduated in 2015 from Plano Senior High School.

Nick was preceded in death by his grandfathers - Ferdinand Glapion, Sr., Ferdinand Glapion, Jr., Arthur Woods, and Damon Murray; grandmothers, Melba Glapion and Elouise Woods; uncle, Byron Glapion, Sr.; aunt, Christie Carter; nanny, Sharon Glapion Jones; and cousin, Gary Jones, Jr. He leaves many to cherish loving and precious memories, including his daughter, Paris Delone; parents, Lisa & Trey Holley and Edward Delone, Jr.; brothers - Ryan Augustine, Christopher Glapion, Justin Meredith, and Romelo Bougere; sisters - Cerenity Early, Taylor Delone, and Nadia Noble; great-grandmother, Elva Mae Murray; grandparents - Jeanne Glapion, Morrial Murray, Edward & Brenda Delone, Sr., Marilyn & Heriod Holley, Jr.; aunts and uncles - Ferdinand Glapion III (Ronica), Kilton Holley (Crystal), Elliott Delone, Candi Jackson (Kirk), Desire, and Ebony Delone; along with a host of other relatives and friends that loved him dearly.

He is also survived by a special group of friends that were dear to his heart: Naomi Washington, Alex Carr, Brandon Rutledge, and Semaj Francis.
