Octavio Calvillo Granados

Octavio Calvillo Granados was born on April 21, 1968, in Mexico City, Mexico to the parentage of Maria Del Carmen Granados and Jose Calvillo Garza. He transitioned to eternity with his Lord on December 12, 2021, in Garland, Texas.

He received his primary education in his hometown and later received his bachelor’s degree.  Soon after, he embarked on his journey to the U.S to seek the American Dream like many of his brothers and sisters. He enjoyed a career at Ben E. Keith Company in 2004 where he met many friends and made lasting relationships. He was very grateful for his work family who remained supportive throughout his illness.

Octavio married the love of his life, Candida Alfaro Molina, on September 28, 1999. The two remained united in holy matrimony until his transition.

Among many hobbies, Octavio had a love for Los Pumas, his favorite soccer team. He also enjoyed in spending time with his grandchildren, and he was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He often teased others who were fans of different teams. He also delighted in watching movies and indulging in eating sweets. He was a devoted Christian always happy to lend a helping hand to others.

He will be fondly remembered for his caring, funny, and genuine nature. His loving spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved him. 

Octavio was preceded in death by his mother, Maria Del Carmen Granados. Those left to cherish precious memories include his loving wife of 22 years, Candida Alfaro Molina; children, Diana Parks (Brandon) and Jose Francisco Sanchez; grandchildren – Ismael, Malakai, Jonah, and Eden; father, Jose Calvillo Garza; and a host of other relatives and friends.
