Patricia Juanita (Smith) Prelow

Patricia Juanita (Smith) Prelow was born June 28, 1951, to the parentage of Charlotte Smith and James Oliver in Kansas City, Missouri. She transitioned on February 3, 2025, in Texas. Her mother and father preceded her in death.

Patricia received her formal education in Kansas City and attended El Centro College in Dallas. She enjoyed 27 years of dedicated service with the United States Postal Service. 

In 1969, she united in holy matrimony with Melton Prelow. One child was born to this union, Melton Chadwick Prelow III.

In 1973, Patirica moved from Kansas City, Missouri to Dallas, Texas. She joined Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend G.B. Prince and later joined New Birth Baptist Church. 

Those left to cherish lasting memories and continue her legacy of love include her son, Melton Chadwick Prelow III, and a host of other family and friends.
