Patti Yvonne Skates

Patti Yvonne Skates was born on February 6, 1968, to Hartwell Cleon Skates, Jr. and Patricia Ann Akin in Dallas, Texas. She passed away on March 26, 2023, in Carrollton, Texas. 

Affectionately regarded as "Patti Pie", Patti graduated from Farmersville High School in 1986. She went on to become Project Manager for Triangle Pacific in Addison Texas.

In 2003, she met the love of her life, Jose Tirado. The two remained united until her passing.

Patti loved boat rides, fishing, and cookouts with her family and friends. She will be fondly remembered for her outgoing, courageous, and fun-loving nature. Her charming and giving spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved her.       

She was preceded in death her father, Hartwell Cleone Skates, Jr.; mother, Patricia Ann Akin; and step-father, Raymond Hollis Shows. Those left to cherish sweet memories include her husband, Jose Tirade; beloved daughter, Crystal Ann Batson; and a host of family and friends.
