Pedro Renteria

Pedro Renteria was born on January 31, 1941, in Monterry, Mexico, to José Renteria and Andrea Ramirez. He transitioned on August 9, 2020, in Richardson, Texas. 

Pedro married the love of his life, Maria Renteria. The two remained united in matrimony for 52 years until Maria's transition. 

Pedro was a deacon for over 30 years at Primera Asamblea de Dios En Garland. Among many hobbies, Pedro enjoyed boxing, watching old westerns, and working with his hands. For more than 25 years, he worked for Superior Custom Cabinets. He delighted in making his special hot sauce. 

He will be fondly remembered for always laughing, his will to live life to the fullest, and his incredible strength. 

Pedro was preceded in death by his parents and wife. Those left to cherish precious memories include his daughter, Sylvia Pellecer (Carlos); son, Xavier Renteria (Lucy); daughter, Mariselda McGough (Tim); son, Sergio Renteria (Pat); daughter, Gracie Morales (Andy); daughter, Cynthia Gonzalez (Max); son, Pedro Renteria, Jr. (Ashley); 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
