Rebecca "Becky" Sue Eberius was born on June 20, 1950, in Springfield, Missouri. She passed away on May 11, 2022, in Richardson, Texas.
In 1968, Rebecca graduated from St. Pius X Catholic Parish in Kansas City, Missouri. In 1972, she went on to attend Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas, where she earned her degree in History and English.
Affectionately regarded as “Becky”, Rebecca was a stay-at-home mom. She later enjoyed a longtime career as a beloved preschool teacher until her retirement in 2018.
On August 11, 1973, Rebecca married Richard Eberius. To this union, two loving daughters were loved and nurtured. Rebecca was a wonderful mom. Richard and Rebecca remained united in holy matrimony until her transition.
Devout in faith, Rebecca was a longtime member of St. Pius X Catholic Parish in Dallas, Texas. She served in many roles for several years.
Among many hobbies, Rebecca enjoyed reading, peaceful walks, teaching others, and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed working out and was active at her local gym. She will be fondly remembered for her caring, passionate, optimistic, and determined nature. Her genuine spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Aleene Rule; sister, Jill Cale; sister-in-law, Judy Curtin; parents-in-law, Richard and Dolores Eberius.
Those left to cherish sweet memories include her husband of 48 years, Richard Eberius; daughters, Laura Histed (Jarvis) and Suzanne Eberius; grandchildren - Skyla, Cody, Caleb, Cayden, Corbin, Charlotte, and Jonathan "JP"; sister, Kathy; brother, Chris; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends.
