Renita Donnell

A loving sister and mother of two children, Renita Donnell transitioned on Monday, October 26, 2020 at age 68. 

Born in Dallas, Texas on May 26, 1952, to Aron and Lottie (Clark) Donnell, Renita had a passion and love for music, fine arts, and books. She was known for her quick wit, her easy going spirit. and the smile that would brighten a dark day.

She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from East Texas State University in Commerce, Texas, now known as Texas A&M University of Commerce, in 1974. 

Renita was preceded in death by her parents, Aron and Lottie (Clark) Donnell.  Those left to cherish precious memories include her two daughters, Vontrae Donnell and Antavia Standifer (Antonio); one special daughter, Jametta Ervin (Mark); three brothers: Eddie Donnell, Robert (Evelyn) Donnell, and Aron Donnell, Jr.; grandchildren: Cameron Lamar, LaDarrius Love, Jazlyn Reeves, Amiracle Standifer, Alexia Standifer, Asha Standifer, and Antonia Standifer; two great-grandchildren, Elliot Garcia and Legend Garcia; her “special babies”, Se’Myah Mathis, Tru Mathis, and Amaria Mathis; several nieces and nephews; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends. Renita's loving nature will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
