Robert Lee Townes III

Robert Lee Townes III, affectionately regarded as "Big Man”, was born on March 4, 1980, to Irene and Robert Lee Townes, Jr. in Dallas, Texas. He transitioned to eternity on April 10, 2023, in Dallas, Texas.

Robert attended Forest Meadow Jr. High School and Lake Highlands High School. He enjoyed working in landscaping alongside his father.

Robert married Rommikka Clinton on October 14, 2011. Together, they loved and nurtured 10 children. 

Among many hobbies, he most enjoyed spending time with and taking care of his family. “Big Man” was a go-getter who enjoyed life to the fullest, and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Irene Townes, at a young age. 

Those left to cherish precious memories include his wife, Rommikka Townes; his two sons, Desmound Dominique Stuart and Zayvion Townes; his two daughters, Raleah Townes and Sierra Giddings; his bonus children - Jamar Clinton, Teah Clinton, Artayzeya Clinton, LaMarrcyea Campbell, and Odyssey Giddings; his grandson whom he loved dearly, Ny'Hyaire Clinton; his father, Robert Lee Townes, Jr.; his sister, Thema Townes; his nephew whom he helped raise, Dewayne Deshun Brigham, Jr.; his beloved aunt, Barbara Clark, who helped care for him when his mother passed; his uncle, Emmanuel Kelley; and a host of family and friends.
