Robert Earl Vine was born on January 10, 1954, to Robert Lee Vine and Burdia Mae Warthaw in Dallas, Texas. He transitioned to eternity on August 3, 2022, in Richardson, Texas.
Robert received his primary education from Dallas County Schools. He graduated from South Garland High School in 1972. In his early years, he found his passion in plants. Robert entered entrepreneurship, specializing in mechanics and landscaping. He worked until he retired in 2018.
Affectionately known as "Pancow", Robert married the love of his life, Lois Chatman, on June 8, 1973. They nurtured three daughters - Saconelechiecalevette, MaKesha, and Romika. The two remained united in holy matrimony until his transition.
Robert accepted Christ at an early age. He was a member of New Macedonia Baptist Church in Rowlett, Texas, under the leadership of Pastor A. B. Chatman.
Among many hobbies, Robert enjoyed listening to music, landscaping, and spending time with his family. He will be fondly remembered for his loyal, honest, hardworking, dependable, and loving nature. His kind spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee Vine and Burdia Mae Vine-Ghoston; and stepfather, Jimmie Ghoston.
Those left to cherish precious memories include his loving wife of 49 years, Lois Vine; children – Saconelechiecalevette Regan (Oscar), MaKesha Vine, and Romika McGilvery (Jacoby); eight grandchildren - Kristopher, Karvus, MarQuesha, Yu’Zariea, Celestial, Diamond, Kameron, and Kamari; six great-grandchildren - Derius, Dakotah, Skylarr, Emiliano, Rhyleigh, and Armonee; and a host of other relatives and friends.
