Robin Rogers Obituary

Robin Rogers, 37, of Rockwall, passed away on Thursday, January 5th, as she was surrounded by loved ones.

Robin was born in Holland, Michigan, though she always referred to Seattle as her home since she lived in Moses Lake, just outside of Seattle. She raved about Space Burgers from the Space Needle, the Fish Market, her beloved Seattle Seahawks, and just her overall love of the West Coast culture. Robin was extremely proud of her Irish heritage which contributed both to her fierce love and never-back-down mentality. She could also drink most men under the table. Robin had family located all over - from Georgia to Missouri to Texas.

Robin earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Valdosta State University. While in college, she met the man of her dreams, Brent Rogers, who she would lovingly call “Amorcito”, which means “sweetheart in Spanish,” for the next 15 years.

Following college, Robin found her true calling in life as a tattoo artist. Her passion for art and expression along with her genuine love of people made tattoos by her an experience one could never forget. An incredibly talented and balanced artist, she was skilled in Realism, Trash Polka, Traditional & Old School, Watercolor, and Black & Grey. Robin could make any concept come to life in beautiful color to last a lifetime. Anyone lucky enough to have been tattooed by her will have her presence forever. Robin’s Tattoo Family is one she cherished! She made a name for herself in Georgia, working in Firehouse Tattoos and Ink Addiction. Her most loved crew was Hollywood Twisted Needle. She carried that passion to Texas, working at Fresh Ink before becoming pregnant in 2019.

While in Georgia, Robin married Brent, and what a life they created together. Over the course of 15 years, they would embark on a fairy tale love story across the world that everyone could witness on social media. Robin’s love and expert knowledge of Greek Minoan history would take them across Greece and Italy. Their most treasured experience was watching the sunsets from Santorini Greece.

In 2017, Robin and Brent moved to Rockwall, Texas, to begin the next phase of their life together. In 2020, their beloved daughter, Sloan Avery, was born. Robin was a natural at motherhood, and her loving spirit and fierce loyalty as well as her natural blonde hair, blue eyes, and light skin are all present in her beautiful daughter.

Robin was a true gift to this world...a shining light so rare that her effect on the people she met will never be forgotten. Everything about her screamed loving, from her incredibly loud laugh to her tightly gripped hugs to her understanding of people and the challenges they face. Robin’s life is a celebrated one. Though taken from this world much too soon, the impact she had on it and the people that knew her will last several lifetimes over. Today, we join in celebration and memory of the gift that was and will forever be...Rock’n Robin Rogers
