Steven LeClinton Smith

Steven LeClinton Smith was born on February 1, 1985, and transitioned on December 29, 2019.

Steven graduated from North Mesquite High School. He went on to attend the University of Texas. From there, he attended Eastfield College where he earned an Associate Degree in Business. Steven enjoyed a career as a Corporate Recruiter at Caliber Home Loans. 

Affectionately regarded as "Steve", Steven delighted in sports and was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.  

Steven was predeceased by his grandparents. Those left to cherish precious memories include his wife, Luz Smith; daughter, Luz Smith; son, Jayson Smith; parents, Glen Smith and Reta Smith; sister, Stephanie Brown and her husband, Jerome; parents-in-law, Jose Cota and Maria Cota; dear friend, Justin Williams; and a host of other relatives and friends.
