Thomas Evans Reddick was born in Savannah, Georgia on October 1, 1938. He transitioned to eternity on November 16, 2024, in Garland, Texas.
In 1956, Thomas graduated from Beach High School in Savannah. He went on to attend Tennesee State University and North Texas State University. Thomas enjoyed a career that spanned over 28 years at General Motors. He began in assembly and retired as a line foreman.
On July 18, 1959, Thomas married the love of his life, Margaret Louise Keller. The two loved and nurtured two daughters and a son. They remained united in holy matrimony for 65 years until his transition.
Thomas accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and remained steadfast in his faith. He served as a deacon at Abounding Love Fellowship Church in Dallas, Texas, under the leadership of Pastor Audrey Bonner.
Among many hobbies, Thomas delighted in drag racing. He most enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Thomas will be fondly remembered for his charisma and strength. His loving and inspirational spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Martha Reddick; his son, Arthur Odell Cummings; and his parents-in-law, Theodore and Wilhelmina Keller.
Those left to cherish fond memories include his wife, Margaret Reddick; children: Theresa Buffin (Kenneth), Thomas Reddick, Jr., and Marshette Teel (Byron); his grandchildren: Randy Buffin (Lisa), Kennesha Buffin (Deadrick), Ketric Buffin (Whitney), Jaylon Allen (Jasmin), Dominique Reddick (Britnee), and Kiara Teel; great-grandchildren: Jarod Buffin, Kalyse Buffin, Austin Buffin, Tamya Wright, Shurone Mathis, Deadrick Starks, Jr., Ketric Buffin, Jr., Kyla Buffin, Jadyn Allen, Janiya Allen, Jade Allen, Jordan Reddick, and Zoee Reddick; siblings, Marguerite Williams (Bernard) and Charlesetta Lacy (Bert); special mention, William (Jerry) Olds; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
