Tori Gardner Obituary

Tori LaShone Gardner was born in Dallas, Texas, on May 30, 1973. She transitioned to eternity on October 10, 2024.

Tori graduated from W. T. White High School in 1991. She furthered her education at Brookhaven College, graduating with an associate’s degree. She went on to enjoy a career in technology at Real Time Resolutions in Dallas, Texas.

Affectionately regarded as "Tow Tow", "Thubster", and "Thubby", Tori accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age and remained a member of the Greater North Park COGIC. With a big heart for people, she loved helping through volunteerism and participated in many cultural engagements and community events.

At a young age, she took on the role of "caregiver" for her ailing mother who eventually became unable to care for herself due to Alzheimer's Disease. She put her life on hold to ensure her mother received the best unconditional care because she had so much love in her heart. Tori was willing to do whatever it took to meet her mother's needs.

Tori loved reading, watching movies, listening to music, attending concerts, and cheering for the Dallas Cowboys - win, lose, or draw. With prejudice, she was mainly cheering for Dak Prescott #4. She loved her some Dak! She loved hanging out with her family and friends and being a social butterfly. Shopping and buying new sunglasses and shoes were her delight! Tori owned only about 100 pairs - but who’s counting? She loved laughing and having a good time and would pinch you in a heartbeat if she got too tickled telling you to stop it.

She will be fondly remembered for her authentic, driven, confident, adventurous, and ambitious nature. Her passionate spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish precious memories include her mother whom she loved dearly, Eddie Mae Gardner; her brothers - Kenneth Giles (Mary), Darrell Giles (Rita), and David Gardner (Rene); her nephew, Darrell Giles, Jr.; her nieces - Jade Giles, Shakenah Faggins, and Tyesha Morgan (Patrick); her great-nieces - Jordyn Faggins, Kyla Faggins, and Taylor Njama; her great-great-nephew, Messiah Faggins; her sister-in-law, Beverly Faggins; her very close cousins - Sandra, Brenda, Beverly, Carolyn, Tina, Janice, Kim, Kevin Jr., Lawrence, Taren, and Shaqualia; two aunts, Lula Henderson and Bertha Daniels; her best friends forever - Liz Foster, Twana George, and Emily Roberson; and a host of family and wonderful loving friends.
