Veronica Fay (Shaw) Salters

Veronica Fay (Shaw) Salters was born on September 24, 1965, to Verti Shaw, in Monroe, Louisiana. She transitioned to eternity on October 9, 2024, in Plano, Texas. 

In 1983, she graduated from Bastrop High in Louisiana. She continued her education at Grambling State University where she became a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. (Alpha Theta Chapter) and Gamma Beta Phi Honor Society. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and enjoyed a successful career as an accomplished Associate Director and IT project manager for many years. 

Veronica accepted Christ at an early age and spent her life fostering her journey with the Lord. She was a proud and loving mother to Paige and Preston, whom she believed were her greatest success and accomplishment in her life’s story.

She loved to travel, enjoyed good cuisine, and could throw down in the kitchen too. She was a lady of grace and truly a treasure to all who knew and loved her, including her AKA sisterhood.

Those left to cherish precious memories include her children, Preston Elliote and Paige Elise, and a host of family and friends. She will truly be missed.
