Wanda Nolen Obituary

Wanda Lee (Pearson) Nolen was born on March 6, 1952, to Leamon and Rosie Pearson in Dallas, Texas. She transitioned to eternity on November 9, 2023, in Dallas, Texas.  

Lovingly known as “Pee Wee”, Wanda attended Hamilton Park School where she was a Bobcat Cheerleader. After graduation, she matriculated to Bishop College as a cheerleader while pursuing a  degree in nursing. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Leamon Pearson, and her mother, Rosie Pearson. Her husband of 51 years, Jimmie Lawrence Nolen, transitioned to eternity two days after her passing. 

Wanda leaves her family with the memory of a loving heart and an unforgettable smile. She is survived by her sons, Patrick Nolen (Shalonda) and Ramon Nolen; her siblings: Linda Mathews, Patsy Johnson, and Shirley Trotter; her grandchildren: Brianna Hobbs (George), Chad Nolen, Breanna Thompson, Aniyah Nolen, Makayla Nolen, and Jaden Nolen; her great-grandchildren: Julius Hobbs, De’Asiah Thompson, and Titan Hobbs; and a host of other relatives and friends.
