Waymond Isaiah Glasgow

Waymond Isaiah Glasgow was born on November 8, 1943, in Keytesville, Missouri to the parentage of the late Arthur and Bertha Glasgow. He was called to his eternal home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 18, 2024. 

Waymond received his formal education in Keytesville Public Schools. He accepted Christ at an early age. A dedicated member of St. Stephens Missionary Baptist Church in West Covina, California, he served as a deacon for 30 years. In 2008, he joined Hamilton Park United Methodist Church in Dallas, Texas, where he was a dedicated member of the I.B. Foote Mighty Crusaders Male Chorus, Homeless Feeding Ministry, Mature Adults Ministry, and Mature Adult Bible Study Class.

In 1997, Waymond married Patricia West. The two remained united in holy matrimony until his transition.   

Those left to cherish lasting memories include his wife of 26 years, Patricia Glasgow; his children - Regina Glasgow, Marcus Glasgow (Lori), Sharon Glasgow, and Gwen Carrington; his siblings, Dimple Baylis (Griffin) and Nellie Dean (Rico); his sister-in-law, Martha Glasgow; five grandchildren; one great-grandson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
