Yvonne Jonnie Bell

Yvonne Jonnie Bell was born on February 2, 1934, in New Orleans, Louisiana. She transitioned to eternity with her Lord on September 8, 2020, in Plano, Texas. 

Yvonne graduated from Louisiana State School for the Deaf and went on to enjoy a longtime career as a tailoress. She worked for Bernard Sliperakiff Tailors and Martin Marrietta (NASA). 

Among many hobbies, Yvonne delighted in sewing. A member of Franklin Avenue Baptist Church New Orleans, Louisiana, she also attended New Life Community Church in Frisco, Texas and DFW Church of Christ where she was a part of the Deaf Ministry.

She will be fondly remembered for her loving, caring, compassionate, fearless, and generous nature and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Bell, and Lucille Piper Bell; Cornelius Bell; Mary Louise Bell; and Charles Allen Bell.  Those left to cherish memories include her son, Anthony (Shawn); sister, Wilma; nieces and nephews: Shawn (Tina), Michael (Lisa), Shane (Teletha), Dale (Kim), Doreen, Larry (Mary), Linwood, Nathan, and Phyllis (Ronald); and a host of other relatives and friends.
