Mary Ella Dunbar

Born on March 21, 1939, in Terre Haute, Indiana, Mary Ella passed away on January 8, 2018, at age 78.

Mary Ella graduated from Garfield High School in Terre Haute. She went on to enjoy a career as a phlebotomist at Nabi for many years until her retirement. 

Regarded as "Mary Ella" and "G" by her family and friends, Mary Ella delighted in quilting, knitting, and crocheting. She used her gift of baking pies to bless homeless shelter residents. 

Mary Ella was predeceased by her father, Ruben Dunbar; mother, Fern Hargrave; and daughter, Angela Kay Frerichs. Those left to cherish precious memories include her son, Kenny Frerichs and his wife, Lisa; daughter, Brenda Popp; daughter, Vivien Frerichs; daughter, Julie Castell and her husband, James; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Mary Ella will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
